The intervention in this apartment has a surgical character, because the ambience and typology of this house were too strong to the intervention to be more affirmative. The infrastructures were replaced and some corrections were made in the spatial point of view, as for instance, the enlargement of the living room door, the changing of the disposal of the former office room in relation to the living room or the reorganization of both bathroom. In its whole, we tried to understand and perceive the ambience of the existing house and potentiate it with our intervention by using a language which would be near the existing one, consubstantiate in forms and ambience, as the use of rounded corners and the drawing of a grocery’s in the kitchen. This grocery’s use, somehow, a language which is near to that of the existing house, but gives us a very strong ambience but delicate at the same time. These are strong point, as the kitchen, the office room, the closet in the suite or the bathrooms that mark the intervention and bring a distinct and exceptional character, although well impregnated of the character of the existing house.
